Set up your school

Your account and your school are created together. If you work on your own, your school is a school of one. Use your trading name.

Create your account

1. Go to my.learnerapp.co.uk.
2. Select I already have an account only if somebody invited you. Otherwise stay on the sign up form.
3. Enter your name, your school name, your email address and a password.
4. Your password must be at least 10 characters.
5. Select Create my school.

You land on Today, which is empty until you book your first lesson.

Note

The school name must be unique. If the name is taken, your account is still created. Choose another name and try again.

Add your own details

Your details set the defaults for every lesson you book, so fill them in before you start booking.

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Your details, enter:
   • ADI badge number, your DVSA badge.
   • Base postcode, where your day usually starts.
   • Vehicle and Registration, the car you teach in.
   • Transmission, manual or automatic.
   • Usual lesson length, which pre-fills the booking form.
   • Travel gap, the time kept clear between lessons.
3. Select Save details.

The travel gap does real work. Learner keeps that gap clear when it offers slots, and it blocks a booking that would leave you no time to drive between two pickups.
