The wait list
The wait list is a queue. Position is the point, so the list stays in the order people asked.
Add an enquiry
Section titled “Add an enquiry”- Open Waiting.
- Select Add enquiry.
- Enter their first name and surname.
- Add their mobile, postcode and email address.
- Choose Manual or Automatic.
- Tick the days they can do.
- Record how they found you, and any notes.
- Select Add to the list.
An email address is not required to join the list. It is required before you can take them on, because that is what gives them a login.
Read the list
Section titled “Read the list”Each entry shows its position, the name, and a summary line: postcode, transmission, the days they can do, and how long ago they asked. The mobile number and the source follow underneath.
Work the list
Section titled “Work the list”| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Move up, Move down | Changes their position in the queue |
| Mark offered | Records that you have offered them a slot |
| Take them on | Turns the enquiry into a learner on your books |
The tabs at the top filter the list: Waiting, Offered, Taken on and Everyone.
Take somebody on
Section titled “Take somebody on”Select Take them on. Learner creates the learner record from the enquiry, puts them on your books and emails them so they can set a password. The entry moves to Taken on, and stays there as a record of where that learner came from.
Then book their first lesson.
