Mark a lesson as taught
Record the outcome straight after the lesson, while you still remember it. This is what fills the learner’s driver’s record.
Record the outcome
Section titled “Record the outcome”- Open the lesson.
- Select Mark as taught. This appears only after the lesson start time has passed.
- Fill in the form:
- For the learner. They read this on their progress screen.
- Private notes. Only you see this.
- What you covered. Score the topics you taught.
- Select Save the record.
The lesson status changes to completed.
Scoring the topics
Section titled “Scoring the topics”The scale runs 1 to 5, and follows the DVSA driver’s record:

The scores between the two are yours to judge, and they move as the learner improves.
Score only the topics you actually covered. Leave the rest alone. Select a score again to clear it.
The twelve topics are: cockpit checks, moving off and stopping, safe positioning, mirrors and signals, junctions, roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, dual carriageways, manoeuvres, emergency stop, independent driving and eco-safe driving.
Correcting a record
Section titled “Correcting a record”Open the lesson and mark it as taught again. The new outcome replaces the old one, and the new scores replace that lesson’s old scores. You never get two sets of scores for one lesson.
