The driver's record
The driver’s record follows the DVSA syllabus. It is built from the lessons you mark as taught, so it fills itself if you record every lesson.
Where it comes from
Section titled “Where it comes from”Every time you mark a lesson as taught, the topics you scored go into the learner’s record. The record shows, for each of the twelve topics:
- the current score, as a bar of five,
- how many times you have covered it.
A topic you have never scored reads “Not covered yet”.
Where to read it
Section titled “Where to read it”- Learners > the learner > Driver’s record, for your view.
- The learner sees the same scores on their own Progress screen.

Write the learner’s summary as if they will read it, because they will.
Using it in a lesson
Section titled “Using it in a lesson”The record is the fastest way to plan a lesson. Look for the low bars and the topics with no score. A learner near test standard should have few gaps and few low scores.
